The pursuit and creation of art has been part of André's life from childhood. He immersed himself in painting and drawing through academic study at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, where he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2000. André has since focused on drawing inspiration from the geographical beauty and cultural richness of Denver. 

André conceptualizes and creates imaginative yet realistic oil paintings of local landmarks, favoring music venues & other architecturally evocative spots throughout the city. 

Creative impulse inspires him to play with small details to great effect. His unique approach to painting blends surrealism and cubism, bringing figurative imagery, emotional explorations, and Japanese-inspired landscapes to life on canvas. 

A selection of André's work is currently on display at Denver Art Society, Colorado Plus, NEXT Gallery, Art Source International, Lions Lair & Edgewater Public Market, where he is also curator of the art on display throughout the venue.
